Baum Automatic Paper Folders
 

  1. Baum Flexifold Automatic Setting Airfeed Paper Folder.  Are you looking for an airfeed paper folder that is automatic setting and easy to use?  The Flexifold is the machine for you.  Simple push button setup and a generous operator screen displays the type of fold you are doing and the number of sheets being folded.  The new Turbo feed wheel design allows the operator to stack a full 2" to 3" of paper in the feed tray.  Quickly fold company statements, letters, brochures, advertisements, and other printed products.

To operate, adjust the paper feed guides on the feed table to the size of paper being folded.  Choose one of six popular paper folds from the operator display and press enter.  Input the length of the sheet being folded.  Push the button to turn on the folder.  Push the button to turn on the vacuum pump.  Press sheet start and paper begins moving through the folder and the finished folded paper exits onto the delivery belt.  Add the optional 8-page right angle for 11x17 jobs that need to finish to 5.5"x8.5" for direct mailing applications.

Features include LCD display, built in total and batch paper counter, 6 pre-programmed folds including letter fold, Z fold, half fold, engineering, double letter, and double parallel folds.  The batch mode allows you to separate folded jobs into specific quantities for distribution and mailing applications.  Other features include 3 memory channels for custom style folds,  automatic delivery wheel adjustments, multi language selection, one sheet test mode, jam detection, and more!  The sound covers and enclosed vacuum pump provide quiet operation. 

The Flexifold airfeed paper folder accepts paper sizes from 3"x5" up to 14"x20" in stock weights from 11# to 65# cover.  It is the ideal paper folding solution for the digital printing market because of the quick setup and acceptance of laser-printed and copied paper stocks.  The small foot print and the mobility of this folder make it ideal for printshops with limited space.

Baum Manual Setting Paper Folder

  1. Heavy duty Baumfolder 714XLT Airfeed Paper Folder.   The new Turbo feed wheel design allows the operator to stack a full 2" to 3" of paper in the feed tray.  Quickly fold company statements, letters, brochures, advertisements, and other printed products.  The 714XLT sets up fast, provides crisp folds that easily fit in an envelope for mailing or tabbing applications.  The top load, bottom feed design allows you to continuously fold paper without stopping to reload, increasing productivity and profits.

Baum K20 Knife Folder.  The K20 is an independent, mobile paper folder with independent drive.  It can be setup to deliver the finished product left or right.  The unique design features allows the folding knife to operate from top down or bottom up.  This paper folder can be put in line existing paper folders, stitching and/or bookletmaking equipment, etc.

  2. Baum 2020 In-Line Paper Folder.  This folder was designed specifically for special applications including running in-line with forms cutters and bursting equipment.  The folder is a variation of the Baum 20 pile-feed folder with the feeder removed.  This folder can be put in-line with a continuous form printing system where the continuous forms are laser printed and then cut into single sheets and sent across the register board and into the fold bank where the form is folded to your particular application.

    Common paper sizes of 8.5"x11", 8.5"x14", 11"x17", and custom paper sizes can be folded into a letter style fold, Z fold, and half or single fold.  A right angle can also be attached to this machine for 90 degree folds or in tandem for more folding capabilities. 

    The exit shafts of the 2020 In-line allow the operator to also setup a slit, score, or perf to complete the printed form.  This folder is common for mailing applications and is adaptable to fan-folded forms, roll-feeding lines with cutters, etc.

    The 2020 In-Line paper folder features adjustable slitter shafts, sealed ball bearings, combination steel/polyurethane fold rollers, helical gear drive, and hang-on delivery.  Optional accessories include an 8-page right angle.
